The system is "Pinged" once every minute 365 days per year. After 5 minutes of no-response the Heartbeat Monitoring System sends out text and email as well as voice-phone alerts. After 20 minutes of failed ping tests it sends out high-importance alerts to be checked on by service personnel. The system monitors the cameras are all up as well as the DVR/NVR recorder and of course the Internet uptime. Usage, bandwidth, and uptime charts are provided.
